Resolving Conflicts in Role Selection
Conflicts occur when participants select incompatible roles for the same decision. Here’s how to resolve them.
Common Conflicts
- Explain vs. Consult: Only one person can hold either role.
- Agree vs. Explain/Consult: Agree roles cannot coexist with Explain or Consult.
- Too Many in Agree: More than half the participants in Agree may cause bottlenecks.
- Non-Participation: If someone abstains from all decisions, it may indicate disengagement.
Resolving Conflicts
- Review Role Selections: Examine conflicting roles on the Contract Details page.
- Adjust Your Role: Participants must change their roles to resolve conflicts.
- Reconfirm Agreement: Ensure all participants are satisfied with the adjusted roles.
