Resolving Role Conflicts in RACI Contracts

These steps apply to RACI Contracts.

Conflicts occur when participants select incompatible roles for the same activity. Here’s how to resolve them.

Common Conflicts (RACI Contract)

  1. No Accountable: Every activity needs an Accountable role.
  2. Too Many Accountable: Only one participant should be Accountable.

Resolving Conflicts

  1. Review Role Selections: Examine conflicting roles on the Contract Details page.
  2. Adjust Your Role: Participants must change their roles to resolve conflicts.
  3. Reconfirm Agreement: Ensure all participants are satisfied with the adjusted roles.
