LEAN-V Work extends LEAN with a formal Validate role for work items that require acceptance, readiness, quality, or compliance checks.

Use LEAN-V when validation is not optional and must be explicitly represented in role selection.

LEAN-V Roles

• Lead: Single DRI for the work item.
• Execute: Actively does the work.
• Advise: Provides input and expertise.
• Notified: Kept up to date.
• Validate: Performs formal validation checks.

Blockers and Warnings

• Blocker: No Lead selected.
• Blocker: More than one Lead selected.
• Blocker: No Validate selected.
• Warning: No Execute selected.
• Warning: More Validate participants than Lead + Execute.
